Krugman wants a 1.4 trillion dollar stimulus package. How much is 1.4 trillion dollars? I have never seen 1.4 trillion dollars in cash before my eyes. However, does it really matter?
If Greenspan, wildly celebrated until 2004, or even 2005, had a role, albeit tiny, by not responding to the crisis, who can we believe? I remember BBC doing a feature on Alan Greenspan as late as 2006, noting that Alan Greenspan even had a song dedicated to him.
