AT&T to put caps on data usage on cell phones

Please read this new york times article. The article quotes AT&T head of consumer services as saying that the caps were "inevitable". Can apps that allow live video streaming gain traction if people started watching every single byte that went through the network?

Assuming they are able to come up with a reasonable pricing on the data meter, will it put downward pressure on voice tarriffs? Only time will tell. For an interesting article on cell phone pricing, please head over to this new york times article.

old news? AT&T A list

Well, I guess you could say we got the memo a bit too late. If only I got a penny...

Anyways, AT&T has thrown its hat into the arena of free circles with high-minutes. This is by no means a review (I have yet to test it myself!) but just a note to tell you guys that I am working on it. In the meantime, check out this line from ther terms:
AT&T reserves the right to block any A-List number and to reduce the amount of telephone numbers that can be used for A-List without notice. [1]

on an unrelated note, it seems that the location feature in blogger in draft is broken.
